🔥Ayer por la tarde, en la Gran Vía de Valencia, frente a la estación de metro de Ángel Guimerá, algunos vecinos se llevaron una escena que parecía adelantarse unos días al calendario fallero.
Un coche terminó ardiendo en plena calle, obligando a intervenir rápidamente a los bomberos mientras la zona se llenaba de humo y curiosos.

No es la primera vez que ocurre últimamente.
De hecho, ya es el segundo vehículo que acaba así en poco tiempo en la zona.
Y claro, entre sirenas, mangueras y caras de “¿pero qué está pasando?”, más de uno soltó la broma inevitable: parece que hay quien tiene prisa por empezar la cremà.

Por suerte, la intervención fue rápida y todo quedó en un susto y daños materiales.
Aun así, estas escenas recuerdan que el fuego, fuera del calendario fallero y sin control, no tiene nada de festivo.

There are multiple traditions, including La #Crida (the beginning of the #Fallas), the flower offering to the Virgin Mary (you can see how the Church decided to get in on the fun), and many, many fireworks displays. And all the people lighting firecrackers all over the place, all the time.

The last night there is the Cavalcada del Foc (the parade of fire), which culminates in La #Cremà - the burning of ALL of the #Fallas, all over #Valencia!
