It’s so good to sketch again, I was kind of busy with projects I didn’t really choose, realised that between ADHD, being a late bloomer as an artist (which I love but also people tend to think I have way more experience than I do) and the movement of not wanting to be numb to the fascism and still fight, speak up, organize, and being a black queer immigrant…I didn’t feel very connected to my artistic flow, it’s slowly coming back.

Lately, as much as I attempt to be, I am incredibly uninspired creative-wise. I force myself to work on music every day and though I have accomplished things, I find my mind drifting even a half an hour into the "work". It's a bit disenchanting, I admit.
I hope I can pull myself out of it soon. Has anyone else gone through this of late? Did you find a solution or did you just have to wait it out?

Just had a thought… y’know how famous artists always had “muses”? And there’s fairly broad agreement that a most artists are some flavor of neurodivergent?
What if art muses aren’t magically inspirational, but rather body-doubling the artist, so they could get past their own executive dysfunction (aka, creative blocks)?

I’m taking a break from web logging. I’m just not motivated right now. I'm also not making any new photos. I still have a few hundred unedited photos in Adobe Lightroom and a few more on the SD card in the Fuji.
