Ranking Magoo, Eskimo Fox and Crucial Tony are back reunited as #CreationRebel. Their new album is #reggae at its best - great tunes & clear political statements. With Hostile Environment, the British reggae legends from the #Windrush generation skewer the inhuman migration policy of the extreme right-wing #Tory government. Adrian #Sherwood is on board as producer as well as Prince Far I with some posthumous samples.
Reggae becomes #punk again!

#CreationRebel, one of the pioneers in UK #dubwise (basically the in session band for the impeccably good and largely underappreciated #PrinceFarI: https://peel.fandom.com/wiki/Creation_Rebel), is delivering their first album in nearly 4 decades soon, "Hostile Environment". I've pre-ordered the vinyl, because I'm a fundamentally smart person.
Jus' sayin.

A Guardian article about Creation Rebel today, brings back memories of an evening at the City Halls 44 years ago. Now that was real crossover music!

My jams for the day:
Hostile Environment
by Creation Rebelhttps://creationrebel.bandcamp.com/album/hostile-environment
"The album title refers to former British Prime Minister Theresa May’s controversial policy towards asylum seekers, and the recent Windrush scandal, all too relevant to a group of musicians of Jamaican origin who have spent their whole lives operating in the darkening shadow of a former colonial power with a staggeringly short memory for historic wrongs."
