  1. I took these #cuttings in late summer, but unfortunately did not note what they were from. I would guess they are #Crataegus, but I am surprised by the size of the leaves and the absence of thorns. Something from the edge of the forest/wild hedges, eastern France. Native species are C. monogyna, C. laevigata, C. rhipidophylla etc.

    Can it be a crataegus? (More in alt texts. I don't need the exact species because of hybridisations.)
