imo we should block servers for refusing to stop their users from engaging in the #craptag, but only for this reason.
a term for tagging people with stuff they probably or definitely don't want to see. people who do this make the whole network uninviting. often slurs, but it can also be spam etc. critical replies that try to be productive are an edge case, but people should apologize and back off when asked.
