The recreated crannog on Loch Tay, at the amazing Scottish Crannog Centre near Kenmore in Perthshire. It has since been sadly destroyed but has been replaced nearby. This is a type of dwelling that 2,500 years ago would have been a common sight across Scotland and Ireland. More pics and info: https://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/kenmore/crannogcentre/index.html

First snow in Aviemore, first snowy walk of the winter. Through the local woods to Loch Vaa with Moray.
The tiny island in the last pic is the location of a crannog (a defended dwelling place built over the water on stilts, several thousand years ago).

After a fire destroyed a replica iron age house that stood on stilts in Loch Tay, volunteers are working on building a replacement for the Scottish Crannog Centre. Visiting Castell Henllys made a huge impression on me, so I am really glad that the reconstruction work is taking place to hopefully inspire lots more people in the future.
