Final set of wombat photos!
There were two wombats sometimes chasing each other as they would chew on blades of grass. Everyone seems to love the wombats from Cradle Mountain eating the grass! These were all taken on the Sigma 150-600mm Sports lens, handheld. We also spotted a number of Native Hens called Turbo Chooks with their bright red eyes.

After the walk around Dove Lake, we returned to Ronny Creek where I changed over to my 600mm lens in very lite rain, hoping to see the wombats again. Expecting them to be a long way away, it was tricky to take a photo of this one, which was almost at my feet.

Walking around Dove Lake, we finally get to the scenic side of The Boatshed.
I set the camera on pebbles aligned my shot & took it, then the tide came in! By the time that I realised, the water was just starting to touch the bottom of the front glass element, and the base of the camera was saturated.
