Speaking of not recognising people! I've been squinting at Jing Yiming, the Shangqing sect master, wondering why he looks so familiar... just looked him up and he only played Wen Ruohan in CQL!

Just in time for #NAPS26, the Patristic Text Archive (https://pta.bbaw.de) got the long overdue functional update: Each text is now automatically analysed. This is the basis for our new and improved search interface (search with #CQL and not only for words, but also for lemma and POS) and dictionary widget.
Analysis is mainly thanks to huggingface.co/latincy by
@diyclassics – but be aware, please, that due to the training material used for these (and other) models the analysis is still not perfect with our data.
Also new: You can quote selected text passages by (versioned) permalink, for example: https://pta.bbaw.de/text/ef861ab3/urn:cts:pta:pta0013.pta003.pta-grc1:w62-w66
Unfortunately, new texts have not yet been added, but the manuscript database at https://pta.bbaw.de/en/manuscripts has been improved. (edit: small errors corrected) -
