I received a notification of an upcoming Kickstarter for Coyote & Crow. They are just getting started with putting it together, but primarily it's to help them move the game to virtual spaces and digital content as a result of the tariffs on physical goods.

For anyone not familiar, this was huge on Kickstarter a while back. It's an alternate history of an uncolonized North America.

#RPGaDay2024 Day 10

This is a tricky one, as I don’t watch much TV anymore and I tend to play setting-agnostic or world-building #ttrpgs. If I’m supposed to pick a setting for a TV show, how about #BladesInTheDark? I like a good heist.

But also, another idea… What about a modern-day setting TV show that features people playing some #ttrpg other than D&D? Giving viewers a glimpse of the diversity of #ttrpgs? Maybe #KidsOnBikes. Maybe #CoyoteAndCrow. Something non-fantasy? Something non-combat?

Zurück vom #RegenbogenCon sind wir ziemlich fertig. Zum Glück haben wir den Rest der Woche frei. Ich habe zwei Runden #HeartTheCityBeneath und eine Runde #CoyoteAndCrow geleitet. Gespielt habe ich #Dishonered die gefühlt sehr kurz war aber zumindest für meinen Charakter sehr interessant und überraschenderweise Erfolgreich war. Heute Abend bin ich dann endlich ins inzwischen laufende #Stadtradeln eingestiegen mit den ersten 30km.

@Rollenspielblog wow, liest sich toll. Eat the Reich, Wildsea und Alien RPG würde ich auch gerne mal spielen wollen. Ich darf meist einmal die Woche unsere #IronKingdoms Kampagne leiten und einmal im Monat #CoyoteAndCrow. Zum spielen komme ich einmal im Monat zu IronKingdoms, andere Sachen eigentlich nur auf Cons.

Reading the "opinions" about the #CoyoteAndCrow #TTRPG and I am once again struck about how gamers can internalize completely made up cultures and whatnot without blinking, but when a Native American writer says, "Hey don't bring in any assumptions you have about real world tribes into this game—just stick to the stuff we present so you don't accidentally perpetuate offensive stereotypes, or falling that check in with everyone else to make sure it seems ok"—those gamers flip their shit.

It's very good. I recommend it.

My wife got me this book for Christmas and I ended finishing it a couple of days ago. Really enjoyed it.

The story was a good introduction to the world of #CoyoteAndCrow and a fun coming of age tale. Now I just need to find group to play a game with!
