One military term for this is "a buggers muddle" which I suppose may be getting a bit old-fashioned. #shambles seems appropriate.

PSA: #vaccination derives from the original #Cowpox , a live virus as systematised by #Jenner fairly long ago and not very far away from here. It has probably extended to other live viruses. All vaccInations are immunisations, but not all immunisations are vaccinations. mRNA sort of edges into the gap.

#Jenner heard about it, tested it, applied it, systematised it, reported it, documented it, and drove it to saving many many lives in an organised fashion.
Yes, we know that the poison prepared from the roots of Autumn Crocus will, in rather small doses, relieve #Gout , but go from that to a standardised preparation.
