  11. My brothers and sisters (Ireland, Wales, England) on What’s App just now (discussion below). Dad (turning 95 this month in #CoWexford) is still planting his favourite varieties. I’m the only one of the parents’ eight kids who hasn’t successfully raised a row of potatoes, though I have had accidental luck with some that self-sprouted in the compost pile 👍🏼

  15. And, later, a 40-min walk to get the freshest fish & chips in the world from Whelan’s fish & chip van near Saltmills (Fri & Sat nights; whatever fish they catch in the morning). It started raining, & I had to start eating mine on the way back. Mmmmm!
