We're #covidzero as over #60s are at higher risk of negative outcomes from #covid. The risk of 30% chance of #longcovid from #covid19 may mean serious #lifelong poor #health. #Diabetes, #asthma, #obesity, #ageing & many other things increase #risk of #hospitalion or #death. #Vaccine for some but still has limited protection. Low income = no #vaxx. We #wearamask. Life got tricky. I expect no response as most ignore #publichealth. How are others avoiding #covid19 but functioning nowadays?

Images on the #photograpy hashtags bring me #joy. Sometimes I trawl through my own pictures & post one.
I only go out #masked as a #covidzero determined never to catch #covid. No longer able to #work owing to #trigeminalneuralgia I don't #socialise at all. It always seems to include #eating, #drinking or #noise. #Warmer #weather makes #masking hell so then even #walks stop being #fun.

For those few #covidzero people like me, who still think it's crucial to avoid catching #covid, I'm sharing a #USA blog. I'd like to share #UK #covidupdates but we don't have them. I'm a#covidhermit as others don't even cover their mouths when they #cough & #sneeze, they neither wear #masks nor #distance whether they have the #virus or not. They think #airborne #covid19 isn't transmissible outside.

@lauxmyth it's really frustrating. I really respect those that are advocating for #COVIDZero, I really do.

We need to take a step back and look at who have no choice but to calculate their risk based on their tolerance.

I am a leader of @PopAlberta, a prominent advocate for COVID prevention and public healthcare in Alberta. Folks really need to think about who their responding to.

I had to work in the ICUs during the height of the Delta wave. I saw those lifeless bodies being forced air.

As a musician, I simply cannot annunciate as articulately as I can and as the music demands behind even the best mask. Consonants are lost and vowels aren't as articulate.

I would say that through working through a mask that I have become much better skilled in this area but it doesn't translate to an audience in a cathedral.

This is the only risk I take. I'm still #CovidZero. Though COVID has been in this house, I have avoided it. Four years later I endeavour to maintain this.

Where's the #evidence for all the claims in this? I'm not convinced they are all accurate. There's no mention of #variants, that #COVID #vaccine loses #efficacy or that most #UK people weren't entitled to #boosters. #Researchers disagree over how bad it is to be #reinfected. Erring on the side of caution would seem wise.

I'm glad you spoke of the similarity with flight training. I'm a student pilot & the same critical thinking process applies. I learned this in nuclear safety & emergency response too. It becomes a way of thinking in the moment, assessing a situation as it unfolds & having the guts to alter plans despite your (or others) plans, expectations or disappointment.

And as for your point on #COVID misinformation: All forms of traditional media as well as the Internet has been used by Covid Truthers to spread their disinformation; far better to attack the messengers directly with stating the facts than going after one medium being misused.

This is a labour movement at its inception and at its core. God forbid the western world acknowledges that if anyone realized how much workers are exploited here too (recognizing not to the same extent).

Reflecting on the current turmoil in #Guangzhou and the rest of #China, and also remembering her peaceful foundations -- as exemplified here in the otherworldly timelessness and tranquility of the Hualin Temple of 500 Gods.
