"A woman whose parents died of Covid a month apart during the pandemic has told a public inquiry she believes the infection was taken into their house by carers."

“People who were working with vulnerable people – carers coming to my mother – were actually not being tested, nor were other healthcare workers."

  2. CW: Health, COVID

Toes swollen and painful this evening, so I think it's COVID related. Had this last year around Xmas time, so at least I've an idea what to expect.

Had a headache earlier in the day too and spent most of the day resting, trying to shake it off. Ugh.

  15. This is odd. JCVI know #vaccines reduce COVID-19 death & illness in previously healthy, younger people, incl. #LongCovid. I had #PostViralFatigue from COVID & I know several people with CFS/ME: post-viral conditions are no joke.

They should develop annual nasal #vaccination targeted to recent SARS-CoV-2 variants, at a cost to those at lower risk, i.e. in line with flu for which I'm eligible for free annual jabs. I can't get a further SARS-CoV-2 vaccine!

  18. This sounds much more inocuous than it is.

Ravi Naik’s opinion explains that many Government uses of data, including the #NHSX App, may be unlawful.

Transparency is required to show why they are not.

Yet the App this week is in public beta. #covid19uk

This is the core of it:
“a centralised system would result in a significantly greater interference with users’ privacy and require greater justification.”

    So, justify it first.
