  6. Last month, contributors to #OpenStreetMap in the Philippines made 14,130 map changes, a 21% drop from February surge due to #Taal2020Eruption activities.

    Despite that, number is above the PHL average for 2019.

    The drop in contributors (still surprisingly high) and the map changes is attributable to the #covid19PH response in the country.

  8. Last night, the #OSMph community hosted the pilot #WeMap session, mapping for healthcare with #MapaGaling - a featured initiative of #MinistryOfMapping

    We had ~77 volunteers who helped validate/fix/update healthcare POIs in various parts of the #Philippines on #OpenStreetMap last night, but most edits happened in or around the NCR.

    Thank you for participating, as contributors, promoters, organizers, and as mappers, to create better #OpenData, as we face the challenges of #CoViD19PH
