This morning's long ride (33 miles/53km) ended up including trains. Just happened to swing by Windsor station as a cargo train went through, then realized the Vermonter was coming when I reached White River Junction. Not sure what the story is on that tree!

Having a great early #cycling season, with 11 rides in April and more than 800 km on the season already. Of course, now the rains will come and make it more challenging to get out. New #bike, new computer, #Insta360 camera all giving me new incentive to get out there into the gorgeous early spring we've had in temps running from the 40s to the 80s F.

The Hartland bridge is 390 meters long and carries one lane of traffic over the mighty Saint John’s River. Meanwhile, in nearby Wakefield, the world’s shortest covered bridge is over 700 centimeters long and carries a few people over a rocky gorge separating the Irving gas station and the burned-out remains of the Covered Bridge Potato Chip Company.
