This morning's long ride (33 miles/53km) ended up including trains. Just happened to swing by Windsor station as a cargo train went through, then realized the Vermonter was coming when I reached White River Junction. Not sure what the story is on that tree!

It's Covered Bridge Week for two more days here in Vermont! https://www.vermontbridges.org/covered-bridge-week/
On Tuesday, I walked from my house to the nearby Creamery covered bridge in West Brattleboro (1879) and did a quick ink and wash sketch as people started to show up.
The bridge carried busy two way road traffic until 2010 when it was blocked off. It was single lane (no signals), and you had to take turns with opposing traffic!

Having a great early #cycling season, with 11 rides in April and more than 800 km on the season already. Of course, now the rains will come and make it more challenging to get out. New #bike, new computer, #Insta360 camera all giving me new incentive to get out there into the gorgeous early spring we've had in temps running from the 40s to the 80s F.
