  3. theguardian.com/uk-news/2026/f. Absolutely brilliant news, although #PalestineAction remains proscribed, pending this damn #Government's appeal to the #CourtofAppeal. If that court upholds the High Court verdict, I dare say they'll appeal to the #UKSupremeCourt, using taxpayers' money (of course) - but what if the Supreme Court refuses to rubber-stamp their misuse of the #Terrorism Act? Even more egg on their faces!

  4. The #CourtOfAppeal has rejected #EnochBurke's application to stop his Dismissal Appeals Panel (DAP) from going ahead on Saturday 13th December. And he has to pay the Dept of Education's legal costs.

Burke was dismissed from #WilsonsHospital School in January 2023. He has reoeatedly delayed the DAP 'cos the Dept pays his salary until the DAP decides.

The DAP will end that. Either Burke gets his job back, or his dismissal is confirmed. But no more being paid to disrupt.

  5. Ex-teacher #EnochBurke may be liable for up to €600,000 in legal costs of #WilsonsHospital school in contesting Burke's antics.

The bills were paid by insurers #Allianz, who got discounts of up to 30%. Multiple costs orders have been made against Burke by the #HighCourt & the #CourtOfAppeal.

Burke's final bill will be decided in the new year by the chief legal costs adjudicator Barry Magee, of the Office of Legal Costs Adjudicators (OLCA).
