Overview The City of Mount Pleasant is a community in and the county seat of Henry County, Iowa, along the corridors of Routes 34 and 218 and associated with the Theatre Museum of Repertoire Americana, the Hazel Grace Pierson Carousel Pavilion, the Business, Office, Reunion, and Heritage Museum of the Midwest Old Threshers, and the notable Midwest Haunted Rails within the area.
