To Jill Stein voters in 2024: please consider what a 3rd party vote effectively means.
When deciding to cast a 3rd party vote in a competitive race you are effectively voting for whichever major candidate you like the least.
This should only be done if no viable candidate is a demonstrably worse outcome in the race.

Trump is talking about deporting 20-25 million people.

The people criticizing Trump's Nazi rally in Madison Square Gardens last night are focusing on the anti-Puerto Rican comment from the idiot comedian. They say nothing about Trump's anti-Venezuelan hate speech (loaded with lies about supposed Venezuelan gangs taking over Colorado apartment buildings).
What many Trump critics don't realize is that attacking one group of Hispanic Americans doesn't equate to attacking ALL groups of Hispanic Americans in the eyes of Hispanic Americans.
It should - but in reality Trump and his cronies are playing the regional groups against each other. That's his true Hispanic policy - to isolate and demonize 1 or 2 groups of Hispanic Americans as part of his appeal to the others.
This sick strategy underscores the divisiveness among Latinos but it's subtle enough to have escaped the notice of many of Trump's critics.
I saw the strategy play out in street interviews with Hispanics in New York City after the rally. Those who were not from Venezuela or Puerto Rico were supportive of the hate-filled, race-baiting rhetoric.

This is bizarre. A MAGA conservative (Katy Stamper) won the Democratic primary for Georgia Congressional district 11, so the Georgia Democratic Party is asking voters to write in Tracey Verhoeven (certified as a legitimate write-in candidate by the State of Georgia) as their designated candidate.
I don't vote in primaries (I'm an independent voter) so this is the first I've heard of this situation.

The U.S. economy thrives on legal immigration, and even illegal immigrants pay federal, state, and local taxes - as well as Social Security and Medicare taxes (even though they can't collect the benefits). Meanwhile, despite Trump's killing of the bipartisan border security bill the Biden administration stops more illegal immigrants from entering the U.S. in a year than Trump did in his entire term.
