Watching the Stagecoach performance of Counting Crows, one of my All Time Top 5 Favorites, on YouTube. Mr. Jones comes on and I'm thinking that rocking to this now is like rocking to something that came out in 1963 the year this song came out and no shade to great music from the 60s, I'm not liking the math of that.

Recovering The Satellites
2025 U.S. 2xLP Remastered reissueMy love & adoration for August And Everything After is well documented. That album is incredible, & truly one of my favorite albums of that decade. And yes, I’m serious.
I remember when i first heard “Angels Of The Silences” ahead of Recovering The Satellites’ release and thinking “Whoah. That’s kind of kickass, but very different.”
Despite the different approach to production, there’s a BUNCH of incredible songs on here, & a lot of them would have nestled inside August very nicely.
Along with the album’s lead single, “Daylight Fading” is GREAT, as is “Another Horsedreamer's Blues”,“I’m Not Sleeping” and “Children In Bloom”.
Now, that being said, I’d be fine if I never heard “A Long December” again as long as I live.
I find it annoying in the same way I find “Hey Jude” annoying.
