Apparently about 1/4 Clacton voters cast a ballot for #CountBinface. Perhaps the most impressive result ever for a satirical candidate. Another 1/4 presumably thought the whole thing was pointless - as did everyone except FarRage - and didn't bother to vote.

So although the incumbent kept the seat, a strategic alliance between Binface and No Confidence voters might have been enough to unseat him. A pretty embarrassing result for a sitting MP and leader of a high-profile political party.
