These two #Councils are my local ones, running my local #county, #Northamptonshire. I knew this sort of thing would happen if #voters here put #ReformUK in power, but it seems #Deaf people, & the #disabled in general, count for NOTHING, either with the voters, or the #Reform #politicians they've elected. These councils won't be coming up for re-election until May of 2029.

As someone who regularly drives in both #Suffolk and #Essex I was surprised at the results as the #roads are little better across the Stour, but I think one reason for the govt allegedly using outdated figures in the case of Suffolk is their systems are from about 25 years ago and give near 0 feedback to any citizen who does report a #pothole (and both #Councils take months or even years to fix them.
Suffolk has got slightly better in recent times (since about 2024) , but they have only just got round to fixing road defects I reported in my local area not long after getting my #driving licence in 2019, so thats 5 years delay!

Artificial turf has PFAS and it's not good for our stormwater...If it gets into the stormwater, it can contaminate it... It can get up to 90 degrees …It also leeches microplastics into the waterways, impacting ecosystems. And finally, it will eventually end up in landfill."
