Being
"a mathematicians" doesn't excuse an ignorance of politics.Math beyond basic arithmetic is not the issue.
2024 presents a choice between an institutionalist and a vicious authoritarian wanna- be.
Even if you're completely opposed to Joe Biden's policies, failing to vote for the democrat this year risks that you will never again get a meaningful election.
The #HeritageFoundation and #CouncilForNationalPolicy
lay out the authoritarian blueprint for a second Trump term. -
⬆️ @strong_sue
Hope the #CouncilForNationalPolicy realizes that the invasive power of money, unholy alliances at the top, and mistaken belief that populist violence can be managed to "Make America Great Again," is setting up exactly the same kinds of conditions that led to the violent #FrenchRevolution in the late 18th century?

Mike Johnson’s path to power was facilitated by the 👉Council for National Policy (CNP), an outfit founded in 1981 “by a group of right-wing fundamentalists and oil barons” that works “largely behind the scenes, to reshape America into a country that protects 🔹gun rights, 🔹counters federal regulation,🔹 favors plutocrats, and 🔹rolls back the social progress wrought by the New Deal and the Great Society.”

Newly Surfaced Recording Reveals ALEC and GOP Election Attorneys Working with State Legislators to Question Validity of Election
The revelations were presented during a February 2020 Council for National Policy strategy session about elections.
@JamieCORY
American Legislative Exchange Council (#ALEC) CEO #LisaNelson told a room full of conservative activists that ALEC had been working with three GOP attorneys on “action items that legislators can take to question the validity of an election.”
The comments were made during a strategy session about elections at the Council for National Policy.
Nelson told the group, “obviously we all want President Trump to win and win the national vote. But it's very clear from all the comments and all the suggestions up front that really when it comes down to is the states and the state legislators.”
She added that they’ve been working with Former #FEC Member and #HeritageFoundation attorney #HansVonSpoksky, former Federal Election Commission member #BradSmith, and GOP attorney #CletaMitchell “trying to identify what are those action items that legislators can take in their states.”
“They can write a letter to the secretary of state questioning the validity of an election and saying what did happen that night,” Nelson said.
“So we are drafting a lot of those things. If you have ideas in that area, let us know and we'll get those to the state legislators and they can start to kind of exercise their political muscle in that area"

TL;DR
A leaked document has revealed the membership list of the secretive Council for National Policy (CNP), showing how it provides opportunities for elite Republicans, wealthy entrepreneurs, media proprietors and pillars of the US conservative movement to rub shoulders with anti-abortion and anti-Islamic extremists.
