I have my work laptop wallpaper cycling through old photos and this is today’s. This photo captures one of the happiest days of my life so far. It was taken on the first day of my first solo multi-day hike. This was the #CotswoldWay. I had just left #ChippingCampden and climbed #DoversHill. The weather was perfect. I’d just had a delicious breakfast. I felt amazing. I was singing aloud to myself I was so happy. I can count with my fingers the number of times I’ve felt such uninhibited joy.

Our family has a young friend with #DuchenneMuscularDystrophy. We fundraise to help find a cure, - currently believed to be imminent enough to save many thousands of lives.

Each of my children has taken on a challenge to help. Last year, my 11 year-old walked the 102 mile #CotswoldWay. Thanks to people’s incredible generosity, he raised £10k for #DuchenneUK!

I am so proud of him ❤️
