We flew back from Singapore on Tuesday, September 22nd - or rather we left Singapore on Monday, connected in Abu Dhabi, and landed in Boston Tuesday afternoon. It was a long trip, and I was absolutely staggeringly tired, but there was no way I was going to miss Kerrin Egalka, Commercial Director & Rob Patchett, Global Brand Ambassador, presenting Cotswolds Distillery at Julio's Liquors that evening.
I'm a big fan of Cotswolds and I've been encouraging others to try them for a while now. English Whisky doesn't get the same attention that Scotch or Irish does, but there is some very good stuff - and Cotswolds is a great one, IMHO. Any event with Kerrin is a good one, and it was great to get to meet Rob. Hopefully I'll get to meet him again sometime when I'm a bit more coherent and less of a zombie.
Kerrin was kind enough to bring over a few bottles that are available in the UK but not in the US, and I've also recently picked up others from Julio's. I'm always happy to add to my growing Cotswolds selection.
