  1. Bristol Britannia C.1, seen at Cotswold Airport (former RAF Kemble) The Britannia was an elegant, long-haul turboprop transport. It saw both civil and military use, and bridged the gap between piston-engined airliners and the first generation jet transports. Seen here preserved in the colours of RAF Transport Command.#RAF #RoyalAirForce #BristolBritannia #Bristol #CotswoldAirport #Cotswolds #RAFKemble #avgeek #airtransport #airliner #turboprop #RAFTransportCommand #aircraft #aircraftphotography #photography

  6. Scottish Aviation Bulldog, Series 120. Now carrying a civilian registration, this Bulldog still shows its pugnacious lines. Developed from the Beagle Pup, this military trainer was highly successful, being used not just by the UK, but also by Malaysia, Sweden, Kenya and Lebanon amongst others. Here we see a former Botswana Air Force example at Cotswold Airport in the UK. This was unusual as it was a light attack variant with underwing hard points. #Botswana #UK #RAF #Lebanon #Kenya #Sweden #Malaysia #BeaglePup #ScottishAviation #military #avgeek #aircraft #lightattack #trainer #CotswoldAirport
