    CW Leonis Plows Ahead 🌌

    A runaway star carving through deep space like a cosmic ship through fog.

    This ultraviolet view from NASA’s GALEX shows CW Leonis racing from right to left at about 204,000 mph / 328,000 km/h — fast enough to pile up interstellar material into that ghostly blue bow-shaped cloud ahead of it.

    Space is not empty. Sometimes it leaves a wake.
