Der #Thunderbird macht mir unfassbar viel Spaß! 🤘😄
Hatte ihn jetzt bei 2 Proben dabei und damit rockt es sich einfach nur geil, wenn der schön tief und der Kopf aber gut greifbar oben hängt.
Alleine klingt der einfach rotzig, knurrig cool. Ich mag seinen Sound sehr!
Es stellte sich aber raus, dass er im Bandcontext untergeht. Er produziert dann eine Basswand, die man spürt, Anschläge und genaue Noten hört man nicht mehr, wenn da 2 Gitarren dazu dröhnen. Da halfen auch keine Einstellungen am Verstärker so wirklich..
Habe gestern dann wieder meinen #Cort #Bass mitgenommen, da hört man dann wieder den Anschlag und die Töne klar durch die Gitarrenwand durch..
Schade.. Der Thunderbird passt scheinbar vom Klang her nicht in eine schnell spielende Punkrock Band. Da braucht es mehr das Klicken des Anschlags, um der "Wand" ein paar Fugen zu geben.
Aber aufgeben tue ich den noch nicht.. Vielleicht brauche ich noch ne Metalband, in die er evtl besser passt.. 🤪 -
Кстати, надо бы свозить восьмиструнку на техобслуживание.
У этой серии есть родовая болезнь в виде торчащих торцов ладов, которые начинают торчать еще сильнее когда гитара подсыхает.
Конечной точкой стало то, что я сел что-нибудь записать ко дню рождения лорша, а встал с порезанной рукой 🙄
KX500 я уже сам обтачивал по ладам, но это муторно и я слишком криворук для этого. Тем более нашел в городе магазин, где есть услуги по доводке и ремонту гитар. Вот и посмотрим, на что они способны.
Сказали, что могут сделать даже в тот же день, но что-то мне подсказывает, что посмотреть на процесс не дадут 😢

Вчера приехала новая гитара.
Сначала думал, что хочу какой-нибудь Ibanez или что-то похожее с конфигурацией HSH потому что иногда очень хочется иметь под рукой тот самый сингловый "стеклянный" звук.
В результате увидел, что на всех гитарах, которые мне понравились стоит флойд и погрустнел.
Потом вспомнил про то, что есть гитары с отсечкой на хамбакерах.
А в результате вообще пришёл к тому, куда раньше ни в какую не хотел идти - к активным звукоснимателям. Да ещё и Fishman потому что мне понравилось какую гибкость по звуку они дают.
В результате выбор уже второй раз пал на Cort, модель KX500 Etched.
Уже посидел, побаловался со звучанием и пока очень доволен: с одной конфигурации звукоснимателей можно взять четыре разных характера звука.
Держите немножко наброска на саундтрек из Red Alert 3.
