I'll have to fly to Prague. And, thus, I will have to deal with airport security. I've long since switched from bras to semi-victorian #corsetry for bust and back support, but all my corsets have metal boning. So, I have to decide between:
a) convincing security I'm not a 10+ knifes wielding terorist,
b) removing deeply buried undergarment before security and then undressing to put it back,
c) trying to find a bra and fitting clothing.
Please, please bring long haul night #trains to Baltics!

And I've just realized that while I do have plenty of spiral boning and a length of shiny rayon boning casing in my stash, they are not in the size needed for each other.

I do have enough coutil to make self-fabric boning channels, I was just hoping to not have to, and enough twill tape to make boning channels out of that (but I'm not sure I'd like them as external channels).

And the front of the pattern is significantly longer than the busk I planned to use, and I don't understand how I didn't realize it from the mockup.
(Luckily I do have a couple of busks that I expected to be too long for me, but “you can always cut them down to size”, so I still have multiple options (either trim down the corset fabric or use the longer busk).

These arrived yesterday, which was crazy fast. Took some photos of the first three!

(If I look tired, it's because unpacking these and getting them on wasn't exactly zero effort. 👀 But I wanted to get a few in before the sun went down.)

More to come later when I have the energy. The other three are two sleeved tops and a dress, so they're more work.
