First overnight of the year, a 2 day trip with Moray, from the remote Corrour Station on the West Highland line. We camped in Glen Labhair, below Ben Alder.

- Waiting for the train at Tulloch.
- Morning at the tent.
- My side of the tent vs Moray's side of the tent.
- Loch Ossian comes into view.

Heute habe ich erfahren, dass im Station House von Corrour, dem höchstgelegenen und einsamsten Bahnhof Schottlands, eine Stelle frei ist. Es gibt wenige Traumjobs, das wäre einer.

I’m the only passenger getting off the #CaledonianSleeper at #Corrour 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, Britain‘s highest railway station (at 402 metres a.s.l) - and said to be the most remote one. Strong winds and a snowshower as the train departs, followed by sunny spells a few minutes later.
A really beautiful place.

🚉 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Der Bahnhof von #Corrour in den schottischen Highlands ist ein Sehnsuchtsort aus mehrfacher Hinsicht. Nicht nur ist es der höchste und abgelegenste Bahnhof von Großbritannien, sondern auch Drehort *der* legendären Szene aus dem Film #Trainspotting.

Scanning old slides, March 1981. Sleeper to #BlairAtholl, 2 day trek with overnight at #Corrour #Bothy, to #Aviemore, then sleeper home. I remember it was the weekend the clocks went forward, as I missed my intended train home because of that.
A lot of water about, I remember a couple of interesting river crossings.
I've got a long term plan to recreate this walk at some point.
