🧐 Expounding on the theme of #PayingAttention, I've also noticed a proliferation of "journalistic slop" due, perhaps in large part, to #corporatized/billionaire-captured #newspapers which have made it increasingly difficult for us in #public to curate sources of #reliable #journalism. But this phenomenon with #news, reporting & commentaries is, sadly, entirely human-generated - just like genocide, racism, nuclear weapons, kids with guns, addictive drugs, corruption etc.

This what we have to look forward to, keeping useful information from the folks who want to help because the folks that want to control you will get it and use it against you.This is the future of #corporatized #medicine and anything else we let corporation touch without strong oversight.

words are important;
we the people are already paying for the forecast; hurricane forecast are a public service paid for by our taxes.The #conservative ( see #project2025 )
want to make the people pay more(when a service is #corporatized it cost more) for the same service so that a few rich folks can get richer.They don't care how many folks may die in the process or how much damage will be done by not knowing what is coming.

#SteveAlbini, a #Chicago-based #rock #producer allied w/ Nirvana & against the #corporatized #MusicIndustry, has died of a heart attack, per Taylor Hales, the manager at Albini’s studio Electrical Audio Recording.
Albini got the best from many notable #AlternativeRock acts of the 1980s & ’90s, including the #Pixies & the #Breeders. He also played in the bands #Shellac & #BigBlack.#music

How can this make any sense in any reasonable world.What was their stated goal?I can understand if our government wanted to protect its workers from heat related problems but why would anyone in our government want to prevent protections.
Do they have an interest in the for-profit #corporatized #medical care system?#Democracy is more than how we vote.

The importance of a good well-trained teacher can not be over-emphasized. They should be able to, and have time to, spot which students need what kind of tools.Lets us hope they are not in a #corporatized #school where only #profit is the main goal and that is why they are using #FLOSS software and not because it offers a wide selection of tools and techniques at an affordable price.

same vaccine given by the same person, same time for a different reason is handled by a different list of corp lawyers, accountants, MBAs, book-keepers and business planners.

It should be obvious to everyone that in a #corporatized #forProfit system a health care corporations makes the max profit when they give the less amount of care.
In other words; As sickness increases (see the response to Covid by the conservatives) and care decreases ( more sickness, suffering and death) the higher the profit.
The for-profit business model is the exact opposite of what we need.
The US doesnt need to invent a new system, it can simply copy one that works. -

I'll bet its because that its against the #narrative the #conservative and #GOP are peddling and the #corporatized media only say what they are paid to say by the corp overlords.
Solution: more media outlets breaking free of the overlords and returning to independent journalism with integrity. -

I keep wondering why is it that only #disinformation and #misinformation is easier to spread.
Why doesn't the good honest valid information flow just as easily.
Maybe its the big #centralized #corporatized #platforms that are the social problem. Your graphic has it right, fire hoses are more damaging to a lawn than a garden hose even thou both water the grass. -

I think that most thinking people actually thought that all along, its the corp media that was focus on the porn star because it make a better headline.

@steven It didnt start out that way. Its been #corporatized. Now its about #money to the #corporation not protecting the artist. corporations are NOT people.

@Chronotope now this is something that you don't hear on twitter or fb or any other centralized group; an organization wanting to get smaller, more distributed so it can better server the people.
This should help folks understand the difference between #federated, #democratic services and #corporatized, #authoritarian services.
