Now that the explosions of yellow are about done from the kōwhai trees, it's time for natural fireworks from our tī kōuka NZ cabbage trees.
Like kōwhai, it's shaping up to be a big flowering year for tī kōuka. This is popular with the bees, and will be later with the kererū when there's lots of fruit.

Happy to report that my #Cordyline trees aren’t in as bad health as I feared, looks like they are already attempting to rectify the issue themselves with new growth. I’ve tried to help by stripping bad the old leaves and trimmed back trunks where needed. Hopefully they’ll get the chance to dry out some 🌴
