Cor De Lux Release “Long Face People”: A Sonic Exorcism Of Modern Life
Emerging from a spontaneous pre-practice jam, Cor De Lux has officially released their newest single and video, “Long Face People.” The track features a compelling back-and-forth between male and female vocals, creating a palpable sense of urgency that mirrors the struggles of day-to-day life.
Addressing themes of feeling unseen and the battle to release paralyzing fears, the band describes the song as a call to “be more” and break free from the shadows of the modern world. With its driving rhythm and raw honesty, “Long Face People” is more than just a song; it’s a beacon of hope for anyone feeling the weight of existence. The accompanying video is out now, perfectly capturing the band’s authentic, unorganized brilliance.

New #review today: "#CorDeLux is a (relatively) new quartet from North Carolina, and Media is their second full length album (following Dream Life from 2020), although several songs from it have been released previously as singles on their Bandcamp site. Their style could best be described as spacy #postpunk #dreampop with an attitude..." #ExposeOnline http://expose.org/index.php/articles/display/cor-de-lux-media-3.html
