Doing a backup of my /home/

It says, still 5k not copied, but it shows 0s left, and on the left side it has a check ✔️.
(Maybe that are the skipped ones, who made problems?)

Anyway... That was my path with Manjaro.

Tomorrow I will try out CaschyOS on my private machine...

Did middle-mouse copy&paste (primary selection) suddenly stop working for you in some GNOME/GTK applications? Even if you use KDE Plasma or some other Linux desktop?

To get this very useful feature back run this in your terminal:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-enable-primary-paste true

Apparently GNOME/GTK changed the default which also affects users of other Linux desktop environments 😠

In The #SemWare Editor, Paste was Grey*.¹ PasteOver was Ctrl+Grey*. Both were independent of the current insert/overwrite mode of the editor. To this day, I sometimes hit those keys, which don't do that in Kate text editor, and can't be fully configured to.

I also sometimes Ctrl+V Paste when not in insert mode expecting the text to be inserted, and it just overwrites. ‹sigh› #CopyPaste

Nachdem ich heute 2 Kumpels 6 Stunden beim #ResidentEvilRequiem spielen zugeschaut habe muss ich sagen das die Serie ihren Zenit längst überschritten hat. Die Klinik erinnert permanent an das Polizeirevier und das Orginal Mansion vom Layout, Inneneinrichtung usw. gibts nichts neues. Alles schon mal da gewesen. Die Level wirken wie #CopyPaste von alten Games. Das crafting System nervt die Rätsel sind stumpf und alles was man macht ist auf Autopilot Gegenstände sortieren und Zombies killen. 😩🤮😡

Is Linux clipboard predictable? Without trying out, please imagine that In Firefox page text, you have words "one two". You doubleclick "one" with left mouse and it highlights. Then you shift-middle click at the end of the word "two".

1) What will be highlighted? Then you press into the highlight with left mouse, drag it and release into a textarea.

2) What will be pasted into the textarea?

3) What will be in the mouse clipboard afterwards?
