Sehr schön ist die Online-Sammlung des #Wien-#Museum​s: CC0 by default (leider auch bei gemeinfreien Werken und freilich auch hier Fälle von #copyfraud), gute Datenqualität durch Kontrolliertes Vokabular (mit kontrollierten Bildmotiven und #Iconclass), bequeme Nutzung und Referenzierung durch gelungenen Zitationsvorschlag, eine effiziente Suchfunktion. Das #MET stellt ein hochauflösendes Digitalisat als #PublicDomain zur Verfügung, derweil die @bsbmuenchen ein #Copyright behauptet. Dagegen spricht § 68 UrhG = gemeinfreie visuelle Werke bleiben auch digital gemeinfrei

This is ridiculous - whether or not particular use of copyrighted content is legal tends to be a complicated matter, with years of court proceedings to establish that.

Expecing an algorithm to make a decision like this in a split second is asking for trouble.
