Coors Field
I was out in Denver for a wedding when I captured this image of Coors Field. I love shooting architecture and I love baseball. Unfortunately the Rockies were out of town so I couldn't fit a game in while I was there.
So, I did get up early one morning to walk around downtown Denver and took a nice stroll down to the stadium. I hope you enjoy this.

The #Giants beat the #Rockies 8-6 yesterday. It was one of those high scoring #CoorsField games & the result was in some doubt at the end.
Hicks pitched a decent (but not great game giving up 1 run on a a #WildPitch in the 2nd and giving up 2 runs in the 5th but it could have been much worse because he only out of the inning w/the bases loaded by getting a DP to end the inning.
Fortunately, the Giants bats woke up and instead of the dinks & bloopers they've been scoring on recently, there were a series of solid hits (including HR by Conforto) that enabled them to score 6 runs in the 2nd & 1 in the 3rd & got the 8th run on a throwing error. 🙂
Fortunately, the Giants led 8-4 going into the 9th when Doval came in to end the game in relief (but not for a save). Unfortunately, Doval showed the same lack of control he showed the other night giving up 2 BBs to start the inning, as well as a 2 run HR, but the Giants still won. 🤷♂️
Giants can sweep the series 3-0 w/a win today.

I have a feeling that there will be a lot more #Dodgers #Blue this season in places like #PetcoPark #ChaseField #OraclePark and #CoorsField along with just about all the other ballparks in the #MLB
There’s a good chance that many #Japanese #Baseball fans will be wearing Dodgers Blue units too. And they maybe showing up at your favorite ballpark too. -
Apparently #FenwayPark is now #CoorsField circa 2000
