Letzte Woche sollten unsere Schüler*innen Ideen sammeln, wofür das Preisgeld eines Wettbewerbs (700€) verwendet werden könnte.
Viele Mädchen aus meiner Klasse (Jg. 6) finden, dass es kostenlose Menstruationsprodukte an der Schule geben sollte. Nun sind sie direkt aktiv geworden und haben innerhalb einer Woche den Prototyp für einen Binden-/ Tamponspender gebaut. Termin beim Schulleiter haben sie - das Projekt nimmt Fahrt auf. Ich find’s einfach nur großartig.

I just saw someone refer to push bikes/bicycles as acoustic bikes. I think I'm going to start calling them organic bikes, just so I can stay ahead of the zeitgeist curve.

I came across some stuff online that all the cool kids these days are wearing modded Casio watches and thought ooh I can do that and it would be a cool gift for my brother. And then I found my old Casio calculator watch in a junk drawer and I’m a cool kid again too. The mods are just simple color gradient screens.
