There was something odd about death.
He'd always thought that, and asked
Himself why machines could be forever
Repaired but not humans. He thinks of
The day she convinced him to work on
Something that might repair her, broken as
She was. Such was her shattered beauty
He hadn't been able to resist, and had
Worked all hours. She'd tried it on
Once, this wonder machine, and never
Taken it off. It killed her there and then,
And now she looks younger than ever.

Light dances before my eyes
A kaleidoscope of raucous colour
Cavorting
Flashing in my retinas
Reforming my brain waves
Therapy
Convince me, I whisper
Show me beauty
Let my awe reframe
My damaged brain
Convince me, I plead
That beauty walks this earth
Tired souls and warm hearts
In strong hands
Convince me, I beg
That one day I can be so
And take my place
Among lights and hands
And hearts
To light up the world

#Convinced by my own delusion
Created in the midst of The Confusion
I demanded them to believe, what I state
Conflate reality with my illusion

But there came some, crying foul
“This man tells lies!” they howl
And so I attacked with hate
Made my followers beat their jowls

No matter how much they berate
Shame to me is foreign
So I will foment and instigate
Until you accept my naked reign

If you defy the belief in my lie, you will die
