  16. KI beim Texten: Ghostwriter oder hilfreicher Sparringspartnerin

    Über die KI-Kennzeichnungspflicht und ihre Lücken habe ich bereits geschrieben. Viele schauen dabei auf Fake Videos und massenhaft produzierte Inhalte für Social Media. Nicht ganz so heiß wird diskutiert, was andernorts passiert: Texte. Reden, Marketingtexte, ganze Kampagnen entstehen längst mit KI-Unterstützung, meist ohne dass es offengelegt wird. Wie KI gar nicht mehr so heimlich die Sprache der Macht und der Wirtschaft formt, und was es stattdessen bräuchte: eine Auseinandersetzung mit dem Thema.

    Reden, Romane, Redenschreiber: Wenn KI die Autorschaft übernimmt

    Während bei Bildern oft gestritten wird, bleibt bei Texten vieles im Verborgenen – dafür sorgt die Ausnahmeklausel für redaktionell geprüfte Inhalte gleich mit. Der Ökonom Georg Weizsäcker hat in der FAZ argumentiert, warum es eben doch einen Unterschied macht, wer eine Rede schreibt: Als bekannt wurde, dass Thüringens CDU-Politiker Mario Voigt seine Gedenkrede zum Befreiungstag zweier Konzentrationslager mit KI-Unterstützung verfasst hatte, war die Empörung groß, während bei Digitalminister Karsten Wildberger, der offen KI in seine Reden einbaut, kaum jemand mit der Wimper zuckte. Der Unterschied liegt nicht in der Technik, sondern in der Intention: Bei einer Holocaust-Gedenkrede erwartet „das Publikum“, dass sich jemand die Mühe des Nachdenkens tatsächlich gemacht hat. Eine aus meiner Sicht durchaus fragwürdige Argumentationskette.

    Eine andere Position bezieht der Verband der Redenschreiber deutscher Sprache, der die Reden der DAX-Vorstände jährlich prämiert. Verbandspräsident Peter Sprong winkt bei der Frage nach einer Kennzeichnungspflicht ab und bringt es auf den Punkt: „Das Verwenden der KI ist kein Zeichen geistiger Faulheit.“ In naher Zukunft, sagt er voraus, werde ohnehin niemand mehr ehrlich behaupten können, ein Text sei komplett ohne KI entstanden. Das ist bemerkenswert offen. Sollten wir also auf die KI-Kennzeichnungspflicht verzichten?

    Die menschliche Erfahrung und die Literatur

    Was aus seiner Sicht auf dem Spiel steht, bringt der Literaturwissenschaftler Wolfgang Matz auf den Punkt. Er widerspricht dem Leipziger Literaturprofessor Erik Schilling. Auch Menschen zitieren laut Schilling falsch und machen Fehler. Entscheidend sei nicht, wer einen Text schreibt, sondern wer ihn autorisiert und mit seinem Namen für dessen Qualität einsteht. Ein von einer KI geschriebener Romane können durchaus ebenbürtig sein. Matz‘ Gegenthese: Literatur lebt von Erfahrung, die ein Mensch gemacht und weitergegeben hat. Maschinen machen keine Erfahrungen, sie simulieren sie nur.

    Ganz falsch ist das nicht. Aber es greift zu kurz, denn es macht einen Unterschied, wie jemand mit der KI arbeitet. Wer einen Text iterativ erarbeitet, immer wieder nachfragt, Fakten prüft, selbst redigiert und am Ende mit seinem Namen dafür geradesteht, hat mit dem Fall eines Voigt nichts gemein. Die Erfahrung, die Matz vermisst, steckt dann weiterhin im Text – nur im Umgang mit dem Werkzeug, nicht in jedem einzelnen Wort.

    Entscheidend ist nicht, ob KI mitgeschrieben hat, sondern ob jemand Verantwortung übernimmt und das offen sagt. Wer so arbeitet, gehört nicht in denselben Topf wie Fake News und Fake Bilder. Genau diese Ehrlichkeit aber fordert das Gesetz nicht ein: Die Ausnahme für redaktionell geprüfte Texte ist so weit gefasst, dass es jedem selbst überlassen bleibt, ob er seine KI-Nutzung offenlegt – oder sie, wie Voigt, lieber verschweigt. Ich habe es in meinem Blog generell kenntlich gemacht und schreibe es jetzt auch meist unter meine Beiträge.

    Nicht jeder zieht daraus dieselbe Konsequenz. Christian Buggisch etwa hält es strenger und schreibt in eigener Sache: „Als Blogger habe ich mich selbst dazu verpflichtet, euch gegenüber ehrlich zu sein und zu sagen, ob ein Text oder ein Bild mit Hilfe von KI entstanden ist (Spoiler: Text nie, Bild gelegentlich).“ Auch Christian Stöcker, Professor für Digitale Kommunikation an der HAW Hamburg, ermahnt seine Schüler immer wieder, auch ohne KI zu schreiben. Diese Haltung respektiere ich, sie ist in sich konsequent. Ich selbst arbeite unter den oben beschriebenen Prämissen anders: iterativ, mit KI auch am Text, aber offen benannt, wofür und wie.

    Marketingabteilungen: Mehr Content, weniger Wirkung

    Weizsäcker und die Redenschreiber liefern das Beispiel aus der Politik, Prof. Dr. Gerald Lembke liefert es aus der Wirtschaft. In den Marketingabteilungen, mit denen er arbeitet, sei KI längst Alltag: Texte, Bildmotive, Kampagnenideen, Reportings, Social-Posts entstehen heute im Akkord, ein Team, das früher acht Posts pro Woche schaffte, schafft jetzt dreißig. Trotzdem hört Lembke in fast jedem Gespräch denselben Satz: Wir produzieren immer mehr – aber immer mehr KI-Brei: glatt, korrekt, austauschbar. Die Markenstimme verdünnt sich mit jedem Durchlauf, die Datenbasis für echte Entscheidungen fehlt oft, und weil niemand mehr mitmisst, verliert sich aus dem Blick, was von alledem überhaupt Wirkung erzeugt.

    Wie sieht also ein verantwortungsvoller Umgang mit KI aus? Der Wissenschaftsblogger Stefan A. K. Weichelt hat seine eigene Arbeitsweise offengelegt, und sie ist so unspektakulär wie lehrreich: Er lässt sich von KI-Systemen nicht die Antwort liefern, sondern nur die Fundstelle, samt Seitenzahl zum Nachlesen im Original. Er schickt dieselbe Frage bewusst an mehrere Modelle gleichzeitig, weil im Widerspruch zwischen den Antworten meist der eigentliche Streitpunkt eines Themas steckt. Und er prüft jede einzelne Quelle selbst nach, weil KI-Systeme erfundene Quellenangaben mit derselben Überzeugungskraft präsentieren wie echte. Verantwortung wird hier nicht behauptet, sondern praktiziert.

    Zur gleichen Ehrlichkeit gehört aber auch, wie wir über die Werkzeuge selbst sprechen. Genau darauf zielt ein Beitrag auf mkln.org, der sich auf die Sprachforscherinnen Emily Bender und Nanna Inie beruft: Wer schreibt, ChatGPT „meine“ etwas oder Claude „behaupte“ etwas, erschafft sprachlich ein Gegenüber, das es gar nicht gibt – und verschiebt damit unbemerkt die Verantwortung von den Menschen, die ein System bauen, einsetzen und seine Ausgaben prüfen, auf eine imaginäre Maschinen-Persönlichkeit.

    KI als Sparringspartnerin, nie als Autopilot

    Beide Texte zusammen ergeben die eigentliche Pointe: Echte Transparenz beginnt nicht bei einem Label, das im Nachhinein irgendwo klein in der Ecke klebt. Sie beginnt bei der Art, wie wir während der Arbeit mit einer KI über sie sprechen und wie ernst wir die Prüfung ihrer Antworten nehmen. Genau das lässt sich nicht verordnen. Aber es lässt sich vorleben – und genau daran sollte sich messen lassen, wer KI nutzt, ob als Blogger, Redenschreiber oder Kampagnenmacher.

    Ich kann verstehen und akzeptieren, dass Blogger wie Christian Buggisch den Einsatz von KI beim Texten ablehnen. Ich kann verstehen, dass an machen Stellen standardisierbare Nachrichten von der Börse oder Fußballergebnisse durch KI erstellt werden. Ich kann aber auch verstehen, dass man komplexeren Texten, Studien oder Prosa misstraut, die rein durch KI erstellt und nicht zumindest von Menschen überprüft, besser redigiert und überarbeitet wurden. Letzteres geht einfach nicht.

    Trotzdem mein Plädoyer zum Schluss: KI ist ein Werkzeug, das sich längst durchgesetzt hat, wie einst die Schreibmaschine, wie die Textverarbeitung – nur mit weitaus weitreichenderen Folgen. Aufhalten lässt sie sich nicht, das ist müßig zu diskutieren. Also gilt: KI bewusst einsetzen, aber nicht an sie als Person oder Persönlichkeit oder als perfekte Texterin glauben. Jedes Ergebnis mehrmals Korrektur lesen, Fakten prüfen und nochmals prüfen. Und trotzdem die Chancen nutzen: die KI als Sparringspartnerin nutzen, Ideen hinein werfen, entwickeln, weiterdenken. Aus meiner Erfahrung kann Generative Künstliche Intelligenz hier wirklich helfen, fehlerfreiere, bessere Text, Reden und Manuskripte zu erstellen. Wer KI als Werkzeug und nicht als gottgegeben oder Altman-gegeben ansieht, der kann großen Nutzen daraus ziehen.
