  6. Jumped out of bed remembering I’d left a pot of thyme in its bottom-watering bowl - the poor thing’s feet would be wet all night! Got into the potting shed/kitchen; & saw it was even worse- the poor thing, which was undergoing emergency hydration after I’d found it dry & drooping, had slurped up all the water.

    Now do I leave it maybe not all the way rehydrated; or do I refill the bowl & leave it with wet feet overnight?

  10. Also, I've grown fond of the rimless rose pots or long toms, as they are suggestively known. Have yet to find any at the garden centers but scored a handful at a garage sale last year. Herb plants look great in them.
