I had lots of fun last week at #ContainerDays chatting about #observability and the @OpenSearchProject In fact, it was my first public speaking as an official OpenSearch Ambassador under The Linux Foundation's OpenSearch Software Foundation 🤩
It was also a good opportunity to share about the new observability technical advisory group we started this month for #OpenSearch.

Google's discontinuation of #Kaniko will hopefully pave the way for better container image build tools. These have been around for quite a while, but integration into common platforms only worked flawlessly 99% of the way.

Probably my favourite moment at #ContainerDays : Kelsey Hightower gets asked a question on how #AI will change #kubernetes in the future and he just shakes his head and starts tearing apart the current AI-hype and telling people to focus on actual skills instead.

There’s something special about the #containerdays conference in Hamburg. The organization is always fantastic (shout-out to the @Kubermatic team!), the community is welcoming, and in addition to meeting a bunch of lovely friends I also get to hang in my old neighborhood of Winterhude.
