Went through my consultant contract today, and to my surprise is states that the period is 2 months, and not the 3 months we verbally agreed on.
Start was in the middle of the month, so I'm pretty sure both the broker and I miswrote and misread in good faith. The interesting part now, is: what's the end date in the broker/client contract? Also, the deadline for extension is one month before end-of-contract, so if the broker/client contract is actually one month longer than mine, they will have to extend a month early, or we'll pass my deadline.
I know they're putting the final touches on an contract with a new employee, so there's a bit of uncertainty right now.
I'm not a huge fan of uncertainty.
Or paperwork.
I just want to write some clever code. -

@geodesk I'm a little torn - I like many aspects of freelancing, connecting with a lot of different people, orgs, technology etc and also the freedom it provides - right now I just have a little too much of that (free time).
