  3. A subtle yet powerful shift in perception becomes viable when we stop referring to these tools broadly as “AI” and start calling them what they truly are—Large Language Models (LLMs).

“AI” can trigger anxiety, competition, or a sense of threat. “LLM,” being neutral, descriptive, and precise, invites curiosity, collaboration, and a friendlier relationship with the human mind.

Small reframings often lead to big shifts.

"The move comes nearly two years after The Associated Press similarly changed the spelling in its widely used style guide. It also reflects an ongoing push by many American Jewish organizations to spell 'antisemitism' without the capital S."

  17. Thoughtful piece on acknowledgements in publications. Also on life really.

Gratitude & community are intertwined more than we realise. The year ends for many in festivities, but not for all. Worth pausing to recall that some may be in mourning, don't celebrate the same things or have other significant days. We can still be grateful for clients, colleagues, friends & family, whatever their form. And wish well w/o the baggage of ceremonial greetings.
