Occasional connection with the ones we love is a basic human need, so don’t beat yourself up about the occasional flight back to your homeland. In cases like this, minimisation is the thing. For example, make visits longer but less often and fly economy (more seats on the plane = Lower emissions/seat). Just be a #consciousconsumer when flying and enjoy it.
