One thing about #OSes, many are of course privacy nightmares, and even nice linux ones we might think are good can often be caught 'phoning home' to a server like Amzn, Msft, Cflare under a (silly) proviso of '#ConnectivityCheck'. The first three letters of that hashtag say enough in our view.Many also phoneHome to #Cloudflare and other #dotcons for #NetworkTimeProtocol (seen as #NTP when running #tcpdump).
