My wife, @Smashbcosplay who is not around the Fediverse often, will be at Connecticon tomorrow. I just finished making 50 buttons for her to hand out there. The art was commissioned from Schark Design.
I am reasonably happy with the results. Previous times I just used my old color toner printer and the resulting image quality was okay, but this time I ordered them printed on photo paper and I am very happy with the image quality as a result where I had weird printing artifacts in the past. I was worried that the thickness of the photo paper would result in more failed buttons and I'm not sure it didn't, but my failure rate was always pretty high, so it's hard to tell.

We missed #Origins due to both of us having COVID, so #Connecticon 2023 is going to be our first real convention this year. (I think the local comic convention was last fall). Also a retro gaming convention next month.

I'll be travelling tomorrow for Connecticon! :mexcitedmiku: It's my first time going since 2017 I think. I'll be cosplaying Yohane on Saturday, and Van from Escaflowne on Sunday.
