My #CongressPerson #AyannaPressley's Town Hall call called *me* this evening - out of the blue, I hadn't signed up for anything - so, just calling random constituents?

This isn't a complaint - it was just a surprise!

It was kind of interesting, and of course alarming given...whatever tf all this is. Sounds like she's really trying to hold onto democracy. Also somewhat frustrating because the R's kept calling for votes so she had to go back and forth.

Each day, instead of doing a #horserace article for the umpteenth time, pick a #congressperson and dig into their record. Write about their #interviews, #sources of funding, belief (or not) in #democracy.

Instead of the #WashingtonPost running one more article about #Trump being in the lead (or perhaps in addition to this coverage), go through every #Congressperson's record -- before they run for #speaker -- and give details about their political #positions, sources of #funding, #fascist or #antifascist policies. This way maybe we'll have notice before someone like #MikeJohnson assumes the reigns of power.
