I paid a lot more to fill up my car a few days ago than I had for months beforehand. But it has just kept going up since then.

The discount gas at CostCo is listed as being the cheapest in my city right now, at $1.599 / litre. Just over a month ago - I only fill up about once a month - I was paying $1.099.

45% jump because Pedophile of the United States (#POTUS) bombed #Iran to start operation Epstein Fury. I don't doubt it's going to go up a hell of a lot more, and stay high for the forseeable future.

I think Canada should shut down all #petroleum exports to the USA. Keep the oil here and refine it, increase domestic supply to at least #temper the #price increases. USAnians can pay more for scarcer gas - it might finally get the #MAGAts to start complaining to their #Congresscritters and #Senators to get a leash on their dog.

Just finished calling all my #CongressCritters, asking them to support any effort to impeach Puppykiller Noem and Pete Kegseth, everyone else who isn't fulfilling their oath to the Constitution, and also, can they get rid of ICE. #FuckICE

Just got off the phone with our #CongressCritters, asking them to:
**Implement universal access policies for COVID vaccines.
**Ensure low or no cost access to COVID vaccines.
**Establish a public hearing with RFK Jr. to hold him publicly accountable to ensure vaccine access.

I'm wanting to call my #congresscritters this morning about #RFKJr's #autism bullshit but am not sure where to start scriptwise. Have any of you talked to your reps and Senators about this?

I live in #Iowa, so all of my #CongressCritters are irredeemable #fascists and #CorporateGoons. I really wish I could say that writing to them might have an effect. Believe me, I've tried many times. But their responses were always generic form letters that went something like, "Thank you, dear constituent, for sharing your thoughts and concerns. Now, let me tell you about all of the ways I'm going to totally ignore everything you've said, and continue taking my marching orders from megacorps, superPACs, and Jesus of course."
