Is this an only following only type of group here? All you can see is the people that you follow? How are you supposed to find anything you didn't know about prior? I'm kind of confused. I thought this was a social media group here.

I got confused when reading The Law of Requisite Variety and this definition: “To solve a complex problem, the approach needs to have the same complexity.”
Then I read all kinds of interesting-sounding interpretations.
Just read a chapter on Cybernetics, which states: explanations such as [the one above] is not what was intended by Ashby (1958). 😳
So, now I am reading some chapters from Ashby. 😬

Does "promote" not have that usage in American? The response ended up along the lines of because they weren't advertising a discount or something it wasn't "promoting". This is not exactly what happened but the discussion included this phrasing.

So I did wake up this morning having a dream that there was a hole in my bedroom ceiling and frozen turkeys were falling onto my bed.
