- #ConfTool is used, so I needed another account for this edition of the conf and it logs you out very quickly
- Workshop contents are presented only during registration, not on the programme website
- Paying by creditcard requires a #PayPal account
- You cannot change workshops and payment method in ConfTool

A question to the academic #HiveMind:

We are currently developing an extension to #ConfTool that will allow for the export of conference programmes as #BibTeX / #BibLaTeX . What would be your entry type of choice for otherwise unpublished conference presentations, posters etc.?

Bei #Conftool, dem am meisten genutzten Online-Service für wissenschaftliche Konferenzen, gibt es genau zwei Geschlechter.

So langsam unterstelle ich bei solchen Menüs Absicht. Leute, wir haben 2024. 😑

Die Vorbereitungen zur #GEBF2025 fangen schon super an: Der Call for Papers enthält an einer Stelle einen ungültigen Link zum #ConfTool (.net statt .com). 🤡

Da es Twitter ja nicht mehr gibt, trage ich im #ConfTool zur #DHd2024 jetzt stattdessen einen Link zu nem Fediverse-Account ein. Ok?

@scott_bot I just contacted the #ConfTool developer and he seems genuinely interested in integrating such an export feature. His final response was reassuring ("I'll put it on the to do list") and I'll keep my fingers crossed for the actual implementation
