@GrapheneOS I would switch to grapheneOS if I could use it on fairphone because I believe in an absolute right to privacy its not just for abusers. I'm not going to get a phone other than the fairphone because it's more important to me that there is no slavery and conflict minerals used in the phone and the modularity is a nice plus too. So unless grapheneOS supports a phone that has these features I can't ethically justify buying a phone without them just to use it.

I started watching the new Technology Connections video for the learning about new battery technologies and moving away from #ConflictMinerals... and did not expect the whole bonus chapter on fascism in the USA today but it needed to be said and I'm glad it was. I think that the climate crisis will lead to a devastating shock to modern conveniences and comforts and we should prepare now to limit the height of the fall and as a stretch goal to mitigate the damages of the collapse
